Choose the shared academic identity
Use the course name, class year, department, institution or a short congratulations message as the main wording. Confirm the official spelling and capitalization rather than copying text from an informal group chat.
If the cohort has a recognized nickname or class phrase, use it only when the organizers agree it represents everyone appropriately.
Limit individual details
For a small group, a few names may fit. For a large cohort, individual names are usually better handled on a card, event board or separate cupcakes if that format suits the event. The main cake can stay focused on the collective achievement.
If different graduates want different colours or themes, select one shared palette rather than combining many unrelated requests.
Plan the group photo and serving process
Decide when the graduates will gather around the cake before it is cut. Make sure the main wording faces the photo position and that there is enough time afterward to serve guests.
Give Moh Bakes the number of graduates, total guests and other desserts so the cake requirement is based on actual use, not only the number of people graduating.
