Design for the recipient, not for the room size
A home celebration can still use a strong visual idea: a favourite colour, an age milestone, a heart shape, a short personal message or a clean classic finish. The important part is that the design says something about the person or occasion.
If the celebration is a surprise, avoid details that might expose it in shared chats or delivery instructions. Tell Moh Bakes who may safely receive the cake and when the recipient is expected to be present.
Keep the serving plan realistic
Share how many people will actually be eating cake and whether there will be other desserts. A small event does not automatically mean a specific cake weight because shape, height and decoration can affect the final recommendation. The quote should be built from your actual plan.
Think about leftovers too. Some families intentionally want extra cake for the next day while others prefer a tighter quantity. Tell the baker which outcome suits you.
Choose pickup or delivery based on the day
Home events can be flexible, but traffic, meal preparation and surprise timing may make collection inconvenient. Share the location and preferred time window so pickup and delivery can be compared as part of the order rather than treated as an afterthought.
If you collect the cake yourself, plan a stable, level space in the vehicle and reduce unnecessary movement before the celebration.
