Make the message inclusive
A family name, reunion year or short togetherness message can work better than a birthday-style greeting when the event is about everyone. If the reunion also honours elders or marks an anniversary, state that clearly so the cake can balance the shared event with the special recognition.
Confirm surname spelling and any family phrase before production, especially when several relatives are helping organize.
Use a design that spans generations
Colour-led, floral, heart, milestone or classic celebration styles can work without making the cake feel targeted only to children or only to older adults. If the family has a chosen reunion colour theme, share it as the main design anchor.
Keep personal jokes or niche references off the main cake unless the organizers agree the whole group will understand them.
Plan serving with the full meal in mind
Family reunions often include substantial food and other sweets. Tell Moh Bakes what role cake will play, the expected attendance range and whether a designated person will cut and serve it.
If the event is outdoors or at a hired venue, include storage, shade and delivery details so logistics match the actual setting.
