Red Velvet Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- Red food colour as needed
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease your tin.
- Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, oil, vanilla, vinegar and red colour.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients.
- Mix gently until smooth.
- Pour into the prepared tin.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Cool before frosting.
