Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter for filling
- 1/3 cup brown sugar or white sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
Method
- Mix flour, sugar, yeast and salt in a bowl.
- Add egg, margarine and warm milk.
- Knead until the dough becomes soft and smooth.
- Cover and let the dough rise until doubled.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread margarine or butter on the dough.
- Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon evenly.
- Roll tightly and cut into pieces.
- Place in a greased tray and let them rise again.
- Bake at 180 degrees Celsius until golden and soft.
Helpful tips
- Use warm milk, not hot milk.
- Let the rolls rise well before baking.
- Do not overbake because cinnamon rolls should remain soft.
