Banana Bread Recipe

Banana bread is a good way to use ripe bananas. It is soft, simple and useful for breakfast, tea time and family snacks.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease a loaf tin.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl.
  3. Add eggs, oil and vanilla essence.
  4. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt separately.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  6. Pour into the loaf tin.
  7. Bake for 40 to 55 minutes.
  8. Cool before slicing.
