Write the message for the client, not for the brochure
Phrases such as 'Thank You' or a short appreciation line can sit alongside the company identity without reproducing a marketing paragraph. If there is a campaign slogan, use it only when it genuinely belongs to the event and has been approved by the organizer.
Confirm whether the cake is thanking one client, a group of customers or partners, because that changes how personal the wording should be.
Use brand elements as context
Share a clear logo and core colours if branding is needed. The cake does not need every colour, icon and tagline from the brand guide. A clean use of one or two elements can make the cake recognizable while preserving a celebration feel.
If the event decor has its own palette, explain whether it should override or complement the corporate colours.
Plan a smooth presentation
Client-facing events benefit from a specific presentation time and a named receiver. Decide whether the cake will be revealed during a speech, placed on a dessert table or cut informally during networking.
Share the expected audience and other desserts so the cake size and serving role can be confirmed accurately.
